Basic Job Functions:
The role of Electrical Technician consists of, but not limited to, safely performing day to day repairs to support operations, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electronic equipment, conducting preventative and emergency maintenance on all types of equipment which includes motors, drives, instruments, controls, cranes and calibration of process instruments and other duties as assigned. Must be able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:
Two year degree in electrical maintenance and/or a minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of LOTOTO
2. PLC experience
3. Industrial experience
