VCA Northwood Animal Hospital located in Anderson, Indiana is looking for an Emergency Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team.

This position will include daytime, weekend and possible overnight emergency/urgent care shifts with the possibility of 3 days on/4 days off, or 7 days on/7 days off. As an Emergency Veterinarian, you will be provided the diagnostic tools and resources to make independent medical decisions providing essential emergency, critical care, and surgical services to patients with unsurpassed support from a team of veterinarians and highly trained technicians.

Our well-equipped AAHA accredited facility offers ultrasound, digital radiography, and endoscopy. Our intensive care unit offers the ability to deliver oxygen by cage or nasal cannula at cage side; I-STAT and in-house chemistry, CBC and coagulation profile. We also have patient monitoring such as: multi-parameter monitors and doppler blood pressure. We stock a complete in-house emergency and critical care pharmacy and a full line of blood products for both dogs and cats.
