Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Day Shift; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Weekends Required: No

Non-Exempt, Pay Grade NK

Position Summary:

• Scheduling and documenting results of testing and preventative maintenance on systems such as HVAC, Electrical, Alarm and Sprinkler.
• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems.
• Coordinating external contractors including verifying and documenting required permits.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• An AA degree is preferred.
• Specific training in engineering and/or maintenance equivalent to 1 year of college; such training may be at a vocational or technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization.

Required Work Experience:

• 10 years related work experience.
• Experience with a CMMS required (Maximo preferred).

Knowledge:

• Functional knowledge of computer applications (PC- and network-based), including Windows, departmental e-mail, word processing, database, spreadsheet; basic knowledge of project management, presentation, maintenance/work order processing and design/drawings.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills, on a college level.

Skills:

• Ability to plan, research, analyze, coordinate, implement and present program requirements.
• Interacts professionally with JHM/departmental staff as well as contractors, manufacturers, vendors and consultants.
