Summary:
As the Enterprise Applications Product Manager, you will provide management and support of Spencer's enterprise applications. This includes implementations, upgrades, integrations, and support of enterprise applications. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing technical development being executed by both internal and vendor led teams. You will be responsible for the overall business analysis, design, development, implementation and integrations of the Enterprise Applications and will collaborate with corporate stakeholders from various business units to accomplish this. You will help business leadership understand their goals and objectives and deliver the technical solutions that meet those objectives. You will also be the primary point of contact for internal business and vendor partners.
Responsibilities:
  • Function as the key liaison between 3 rd party vendors and Spencer's Gifts to ensure a successful working relationship.
  • Manages the administration, support and training for enterprise applications
  • Manage vendor partners that supply technical support services for enterprise applications, ensuring compliance with service-level agreements and recovery time objectives.
  • Partner with business unit leaders to deliver effective solutions.
  • Identify and drive process improvements.
  • Manage ongoing communications and training for enterprise applications.
  • Ensure change management and quality assurance practices are understood, adhered to, and leveraged to enhance system health and quality.
  • Ensure that enterprise-level systems comply with corporate security policies.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of periodic system updates and/or new system implementations.
  • Coordinate testing and acceptance with the user community.
  • Coordinate external and internal cross functional teams to manage issues and drive day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure systems documentation and knowledgebase is up to date and current.
Requirements:
  • Four-year college diploma or university degree in IS, CS or related field of study, and/or eight (8) years' equivalent work experience.
  • Six (6) years' direct experience implementing, supporting and integrating of cross-functional enterprise-level business systems such as:Enterprise Resource Planning
    • Finance
    • Merchandising
    • Product Development
  • Experience interpreting business and technical requirements, and overseeing the analysis and documentation of business processes.
  • Experience effectively communicating with corporate leadership and translating technological solutions into non-technical language.
  • Familiarity with risk management as it relates to the implementation and integration of enterprise-level business systems.
  • Experience with enterprise-level data integration tools, such as Informatica, MicroStrategy, and Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services.
  • Experience with data modeling, relational database design and data architecture
  • Experience with information management techniques.
  • Experience using SQL and other data retrieval tools.
  • Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Preferred experience with the following products
    • Aptos Sales Audit (Auditworks)
    • SAS Merchandise Planning (MarketMax)
    • Agilence Data Analytics Platform
