Alteryx is searching for an Enterprise Architect to support our rapid growth and enable our global team of associates! This position is remote-friendly.

Position Overview:

This role combines many different skills and experiences to address and solve business, information technology-related opportunities, and problems. The position serves as a trusted advisor governing the various capability models, optimizing the technology portfolio, and components used by the enterprise. Working with business stakeholders, the role will ensure the alignment of capabilities with business objectives.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive Sales & Marketing Enterprise Architecture capabilities, standards, and tooling across Alteryx encompassing end-to-end capabilities for Customers, Partners, Employees, and business operations.
  
• Influence without authority and accelerate the development of the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems.
  
• Be the technical expert, researching, evaluating, and implementing state-of-the-art technology (open source, third party, etc.) and contribute to design patterns.
  
• Key member of the team with regards to representing the technology-driven opportunities and implications of various businesses and offering strategies and tactics.
  
• Strong technical documentation and presentation skills to communicate architectural and design options, educating development teams, business users, and senior leadership.
  
• Being an integral part of the value stream, this role is responsible for developing short-term & long-term roadmap along with target state architecture with clear transition steps to improve our core Platform capabilities. This includes developing specific design patterns, standards, and an active architecture runway on an ongoing basis.
  
• Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure the solutions defined & developed align with the agreed technology roadmaps, business capability model, and organizational strategy and are implemented as designed.
  
• Build strong relationships with our partners and extended team members, and embrace collaborative approaches to developing strategies, solutions, business cases, white papers, etc.
  

Qualifications:

• 10 or more years of progressive experience in global complex business transformations with at least 3 years in SaaS or PaaS, with a proven track record of executing complex projects.
  
• Leadership experience: Applying the nuances of influencing based on the situation, knowing when to push and when to ease, and driving through designs, ideas, and roadmaps.
  
• Seek the alignment of business and engineering, driving common approaches, and delivering sustainable, reusable enterprise architecture.
  
• Change agent with proven track record of leading organizations through change and transformation
  
• Enterprise Architecture, Business Process Modeling, and Value Stream Modeling.
  
• Previous experience in working with data science teams and enjoy solving data driven / analytical problems.
  
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant advanced degree.
  

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role in Irvine, California is $111,900 - $190,200. This position is also remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
