ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGER

As we continue to grow our firm, we are looking for an Enterprise Risk Manager to help establish our Risk & Compliance function. Initially, the focus will be on implementing recommendations and practices we have developed in partnership with our external ERM advisors, such as identifying risk mitigation plans in concert with leaders and operationalizing an updated risk assessment and prioritization process.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Chief Risk Officer (and Risk & Compliance function) in aligning Risk Management objectives to Business Strategy;
  • Develop risk governance framework, including: Risk Management Policy, Procedures, Risk Scale;
  • Create Risk Appetite Statements and repeatable analytical solutions to create Key Risk Indicators to monitor risks;
  • Develop robust risk response plans across multiple business units;
  • Facilitate and participate in interviews and surveys to identify risks applicable to ZS;
  • Support risk owners to determine impact and likelihood of identified risks;
  • Periodically review Enterprise Risk Management process and benchmark with leading practices;
  • Prepare detailed reports on risks identified, evaluated, and prioritized to present to RCP Committee (ZS's board committee on risk) on quarterly basis;
  • Partner with various enterprise leaders (e.g., CFO, CIO, CHRO), key business leaders, Board, and RCP Committee;
  • Develop/implement analytical solutions and tools to analyze risk portfolios - reporting data management and data interpretation into key observations and trends
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred)
  • Enterprise Risk Management certification(s) preferred
  • 7-9+ years of work experience in Enterprise Risk Management, 3-5+ years of experience supporting stakeholders in a project-based industry (professional services or consulting);
  • Demonstrated understanding of ERM frameworks/standards (e.g. COSO ERM, ISO 31000)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and consulting skills with the proven ability to build collaborative partnerships within Enterprise and Business leaders;
  • Strong strategic and critical thinking abilities, coupled with good judgment, to know when to challenge practices or assumptions;
  • Strong data analytics skills to assist with the ongoing development of technology enabled solutions;
  • Excellent oral and written skills to communicate complex issues and influence others;
  • Ability to organize and accomplish objectives independently and proactively within a growing organization;

ZS is a global consulting firm. Fluency in English is required; additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is desirable.
