Responsibilities

Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile/Davidson Hospitality a 419-room full service hotel is located in the heart of Chicago, steps from the shops, charming restaurants on Michigan Ave and the city's most famous destinations such as the Gold Coast, Navy Pier and Lake Michigan. The hotel offers 20,000 square feet of flexible meeting space with natural sunlight throughout including two ballrooms.

Position Info

The Event Planning Supervisor assists Director of Events and Event Managers in obtaining customer satisfaction by performing clerical and administrative duties relating to guest and hotel communication. Event Planning Supervisor acts a liaison between the customer and hotel sales person to provide direction and supervision during execution of small meetings and room blocks. Will be available to customers and Events team during events to assist with group needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or 1+ years of hotel sales or food & beverage experience
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft office
• Present a professional appearance and confidence
• Ability to communicate effectively with public and other Team Members
• Strong time management skills, and ability to work under pressure
• Experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems
