The EverCommerce People Experience team is growing. As our Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for full payroll cycle for our employees using Workday. In addition to processing our payroll, this position will monitor hourly employees' time entry, answer employee questions about payroll and taxes, and work with finance on GL and reporting needs.

You:

You have experience as a payroll manager as well as a strong commitment to taking care of your internal customers. You have an in depth understand full cycle payroll, FLSA regulations, Federal, state, and local taxes, and will push yourself to be an expert so that you can fully support your teammates and customers. In this role, you will:

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for 1,800 US employees
  • Audit time entry by our hourly workers
  • Answer incoming payroll questions from employees
  • Run post-payroll reports and work with our finance team as they book payroll and close their monthly books
  • Learn and back-up processing for semi-monthly Canadian payroll (125 employees)
  • Assist with Workday releases by learning, testing, and implementing new payroll and time tracking features
  • Assist with developing user procedures, user guides, training materials, and train employees on payroll and time entry as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department

Where:

The EverCommerce team is distributed across North America, with offices in more than 40 office locations in the U.S. and Canada. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working across time zones. This role can be based in the Denver, CO area or Remote, US.

We think you'd be great for this role if you have:
  • 5+ years of Payroll experience in a large, matrixed organization
  • Demonstrated understanding of full cycle payroll
  • Demonstrated knowledge of US FLSA and tax regulations
  • Understands the high level of confidentiality and sensitivity in processing payroll
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
  • Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure that payroll meets organizational needs and goals
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with global payroll is a plus
  • Experience using Workday is a strong desire

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 in Colorado and most remote areas. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above
