EverCommerce is looking for an experienced B2B lifecycle marketer to join our team as a Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing. In this role, you'll lead the Lifecycle Team in driving strategic growth initiatives for our solution brands. The ideal candidate should have proven success building and running a variety of lifecycle/retention marketing programs through email (Marketo), chat, in-app & push messaging, and SMS.

You are passionate about developing lifecycle marketing programs from the ground up to grow both new and existing revenue. You're an experienced leader who knows how to scale your team's people, processes, and systems to deliver high-performing campaigns in a fast-paced, high-growth company. You have several years of Marketo experience and feel comfortable leading the implementation of the tool. You're passionate about developing and implementing marketing automation strategies to move prospects through the funnel, ultimately driving lifelong brand advocates.

Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed across North America, with more than 40 office locations in the U.S. and Canada. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States - if you're close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely.

What you'll be doing:
As a Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing, you will be responsible for leading the Lifecycle Team, who serve as the subject matter experts for all things marketing automation and lifecycle marketing for EverCommerce's solution brands. Team projects and areas of expertise include Marketo implementations, lead nurture strategy, customer upsell and retention strategies, marketing compliance, and chatbot implementations. You and the team will continue to develop and champion the use of email and marketing automation best practices across 40+ solution brands.

You'll report to the Director of Digital Media and regularly work cross-functionally with several teams including Operations, Design, Web Development, Marketing Managers, and Legal to drive and support revenue-generating initiatives for our solution brands.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Leading lifecycle marketing team including direct management of the Marketing Automation Manager and Marketing Automation Specialist and indirect management of an Email Marketing Specialist.
  • Serving as the subject matter expert in all things marketing automation (email, chat, in-app/push, SMS), lifecycle and nurture strategy, as well as supporting compliance efforts and best practices across the EverCommerce solutions portfolio.
  • Overseeing the planning and execution of Marketo implementations and marketing automation platform migrations across our solutions portfolio.
  • Working closely with Marketing Directors to align quarterly lifecycle marketing priorities with high-impact operations and solutions team initiatives.
  • Leading Terminus Chat implementations to drive top-of-funnel growth across our solutions portfolio as well as proactively troubleshooting active instances and identifying areas for optimization.
  • Supporting the lifecycle team in their execution of day-to-day activities, including, but not limited to, campaign set-up, segmentation, scheduling, testing and QA, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered, and dynamic content-driven campaigns.
  • Continually evaluating our existing automated campaigns for improvements and developing new strategies for automated nurture campaigns to drive incremental lift throughout the funnel.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to create and optimize project plans.
  • Own tracking and reporting of key lifecycle marketing performance metrics against monthly, quarterly and annual goals.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience in B2B lifecycle, loyalty and engagement, and/or product marketing
  • 5+ years of marketing automation experience, 2+ years of direct Marketo experience required, additional experience with Pardot, HubSpot, and SharpSpring is a plus
  • 3+ years of direct management experience
  • Previous experience implementing marketing automation platforms, preferably Marketo + Salesforce
  • Proven record of developing and executing lifecycle marketing strategies, including measuring and delivering on revenue and performance targets
  • Previous experience working on multiple B2B brands at one time
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce or other CRMs and how they integrate with Marketing Automation Platforms
  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience leading remote teams
  • Demonstrated success in an agile, fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Exceptional prioritization and time management skills
  • Strong people skills including: Interpersonal skills, communication and motivation, organization and delegation, forward planning and critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and mentoring
  • A strong verbal and written communicator
  • Proficiency with HTML & CSS

Bonus Qualities:
  • Adobe (Marketo) Certified Expert
  • Previous agency experience
  • Experience implementing and scaling ABM programs
  • Previous professional experience or advanced industry knowledge in Home Services, Remodeling, Field Services Management Software; Fitness & Wellness; and/or Health Services

Compensation: ~$110k, DOE
