Family Based Therapist (FBT) works as one half of a team which provides treatment services to families including therapy and counseling to child and family. FBT helps with skills training and education designed to enable families to care for their mental health children at home. FBT works flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the children and families on caseload. FBT travels to client homes, other agencies, and community resources for the purpose of arranging and providing community and home-based services for children, adolescents, and families. FBT completes necessary documentation of each case, which complies with the standards set by Merakey, County MH/MR, Managed Care, The State Office of Mental Health, and other licensing/regulator organizations. Shares rotating emergency on -call crisis intervention responsibilities.

Earn $24.06/hour.

Position Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Family Therapy, social work, nursing, or rehabilitation counseling with a minimum of 12 graduate level credit hours in therapy and/or counseling

• Two years of experience with children and adolescent mental health services.

• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and access to reliable transportation
