Field Technical Support/ Break/fix/ PC/ Deployment Technician

BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Field Technical Support/ Break/fix/ PC/ Deployment Technician for an opportunity in Boston, MA!

Position Title: Field Technical Support/ Break/fix/ PC/ Deployment Technician

Location: Boston, MA, 02128

Anticipated Start Date: 05-01-2024

Expected Duration: 24 Plus Months (Contract)

Job Type: [FULLTIME (>=30 HOURS WEEKLY], [CONTRACT], [ON-SITE]

Pay Range: $24/hr to $25.90/hr
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Job Description:

  • Work onsite at customer property (not remotely unless told otherwise) - multiple nearby locations
  • Represent HPI interests and be liaison with local customer management team
  • Report customer dissatisfaction to Client Mgr (CM) and HP account team
  • Attend account calls as directed and provide feedback on activities
  • Proactive monitoring of customer's printer fleet utilizing Web Jetadmin (WJA) and other tools
  • Assist end user with device functionality
  • Perform initial trouble shooting
  • Coordinate with HP Support when service is required
  • Coordinate with HP with SW branded support
  • Ensure adequate consumables are available at customer sites
  • Assist with device(s) deployment/replacement as directed (must be able to lift up to 50 pounds)
  • Track usage/activities at customer sites to better understand their needs
  • Assist with the collection of usage pages per devices as needed
  • Miscellaneous duties as directed by CM and account team
  • Provide Cell Phone for communication
  • Provide Vehicle for transportation to surrounding Boston-area facilities (HP to reimburse mileage)
  • Proper Dress Code: Khaki/Slacks/Collared Shirt/Comfortable Walking Shoes
