Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

The Finance Program Manager will be responsible for managing several programs and projects across the Finance Organization Development function. They will work closely with Finance Organization Development team, members of the Finance organization, and internal and external stakeholders to advance key initiatives for the Finance Learning and Leadership Academy. This role will require strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, project management skills, and a tenacious drive to keep projects on track.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the team to define key objectives, milestone activities, and success metrics then develop and maintain project plans to ensure timely execution of programs
  • Collect, measure, and analyze data for all Finance Development programs
  • Develop and maintain the Finance Organization Development calendar
  • Support team in maintaining key resources such as the Finance intranet, the Finance Organization Development scorecard, and systems such as AirTable
  • Lead program logistics and registration for the Finance Learning and Leadership Academy programs (i.e. participant communications, process vendor agreements, schedule meals and activities, coordinate facilities and setup Zoom training rooms)
  • Partner with Finance Organization Development leaders to evolve our program processes and development curriculum including the Intern Program, Finance Development Program (rotational analysts), and various courses in the Finance Learning Academy
  • Project manage the Finance Development Program and intern hiring process in partnership with the Sr. Manager
  • Facilitate courses virtually and in-person on a variety of finance skills, leadership skills, and job skills
  • Collaborate with Finance Organization Development leaders to create materials for employee development (i.e. programs, tools, and online resources)
  • Identify, recommend, and execute on continuous improvements to systems, processes, and tools to enhance programs and the learning experience

 

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Minimum B.S./B.A. Degree required
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and problem-solving ability
  • Strong project management, planning, decision making, and change management skills
  • Ability to excel in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and able to operate independently while supporting multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn new systems to effectively manage programs
  • Demonstrated ability set actionable goals, define success metrics, and execute

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years of Finance experience
  • Experience in the design, develop, and implementation of virtual courses using eLearning tools such as instructional software and applications
  • Knowledge of LMS (Learning Management System) capabilities to recommend strategies that yield a dynamic end-user experience
  • Certification in project management (PMP, CSM) desired
