RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Financial Operations Specialist in Billerica, Massachusetts (MA). This client is in the defense space creating technology, and they are rapidly growing right now. This role will help build out the accounting process, will be fully in the office to start, and may become hybrid.Responsibilities include:- Process vendor payments
- Financial Operations Specialist will enter invoices for payment and issue invoices to customers
- Reconcile expenses
- Verify and post accounting transactions
- Financial Operations Specialist will process checks runs and performing activities related to intercompany reconciliations
- Process journal vouchers
- Research and resolve purchase order and invoice discrepancies
- Financial Operations Specialist will assist with month-end close as needed
- Perform some administrative tasks as assigned
- Assist with special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree or internship experience
- 0-3+ years of related experience
- Strong analytical, attention to detail, and communication skills
