The Folding Operator Support assists the Folder Technicians in all tasks related to the maintenance and operation of pharmaceutical folders for our printing manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

• Follows guidance and direction from the Folder Technician.
• Understands ISO and complies with written procedures.
• Follows daily schedule for workload and communicates problems or concerns, assisting in resolutions in a timely manner.
• Ensures make-ready times and materials used are minimized through proper planning of work.
• Performs folder operations; adjusts feeder and packs folded materials.
• Performs process related trouble-shooting and correction; monitors production.
• Assists in clean up and keeping work area neat and orderly.
• Understands proper safety procedures regarding operation of all folding equipment.
• Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some previous printing or bindery experience helpful
• Close attention to detail
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to walk, stand, or bend for 12 hours
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work on rotating shift three days a week
• Must be able to adhere to all safety rules
