Full Time Location Supervisors oversee the quality, preparation, and presentation of food items for an assigned restaurant location.

 


How You'll Make A Difference:

  • Complete and submit all inventory, budget, and administrative paperwork.
  • Ensure all health code and food safety standards are met.
  • Responsible for overseeing cooks in the daily food production and presentation in a manner that drives sales.
  • Assist in executing food operations for special events such as “pop up” food venues in the park, food truck, VIP Meals, media days, receptions, etc.
  • Train and oversee daily tasks of the culinary lead staff using various methods including email, surveys, face‑to‑face conversations will assist in gathering feedback from park guests on food quality and presentation.
  • Oversee multiple food stands in the park and enforce the standards outlined by the park’s Executive Chef for overall food presentation and execution.
  • Ensure the culinary vision for the park, as outlined by the Executive Chef, is maintained daily.
  • Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions, and giving directions.
  • Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
  • Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
  • Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Associate Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

 


We're Looking For:

  • Ability to pass basic math assessment
  • Ability to pass ServSafe certification class
  • Ability to pass ServSafe Alcohol certification class
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of basic culinary procedures.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
  • Open availability to fill a rotating 40 hour schedule, to include nights, weekends and holidays.
