Purpose of Job:
Provide friendly and professional customer service and administrative/bookkeeping support for the distributorship.
Job Components:
- Answer incoming calls in a timely, professional manner.
- Provide assistance to walk-in customers, including fulfilling orders when requested.
- Accurately and efficiently maintain AR/AP including auditing, paying and filing vendor invoices, preparing customer invoices, purchase orders and delivery tickets. Verify deposits for accuracy.
- Accurately perform data entry.
- Maintain files and supplies, help ensure front office is kept tidy and well-organized.
- Download information from handheld units and process in a timely manner. Assist with inventory process if requested.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate (or equivalent)
- Experience with a busy, multi-line phone system
- Excellent communication skills required, including phone etiquette
- Exceptional customer service skills including problem solving and critical thinking
- At least one (1) year of bookkeeping experience, including AP and AR.
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office applications including Outlook.
- Ability to create reports in Excel is required.
- Ability to multi-task, quickly transitioning from one function/task to the next.
- Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Works with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Approaches tasks with a sense of urgency
- Must work effectively in a team environment
- Must successfully complete a post-offer criminal background check and drug test prior to beginning work.

- Works under general supervision and guidance
- Accountable for individual accuracy and committed to learning from mistakes.
Work Environment:
- Exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as moving equipment, mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged use of computer and telephone
- Able to sustain posture in both seated and standing positions for extended periods of time.
