BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Functional Tester - REMOTE

Position Title: Functional Tester (Manual + Automation) - REMOTE

Location: REMOTE
Anticipated Start Date: 04/22/2024

Pay Range: $52.00/Hour - $53.00/Hour

Job Description:

ROLE: Functional Testing (Manual + Automation)

Required Skills: App Testing, HPALM, UFT, Bootstrap

Preferred Skills: App Testing, HPALM, UFT, Bootstrap

Responsibilities: Application Testing - COVID (Pandemic related Initiatives)

Analysis, Testing (6 years)

• Testing Method - Black Box, Usability Testing (5 years)
• HP ALM (5 years)
• Selenium Web Driver (5 years)
• Selenium IDE (5 years)
• SQL Database (5 years)
• Web based (.Net application testing) (5 years)
• SDLC knowledge (6 years)
• ADA - WCAG 2.0, Section 508 (3 years)
• ADA - WAI-ARIA (Web Accessibility Initiative - Accessible Rich Internet Applications) (3 years)
• Providing accessibility strategy consulting to teams and understanding of the different roles and responsibilities across the disciplines of software development. Accessibility testing of Enterprise Web applications.
• Web application for WCAG 2.0 Level A, AA and AAA compliance
• Working with assistive technology for accessibility testing (e.g. JAWS (Job Access with Speech), NVDA (NonVisual Desktop Access), VoiceOver (OSX & iOS), and Android Talkback) (3 years)
• Cross Browser Testing (3 years)
• Developing test automation scripts and utilizing automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium) (3 years preferred): IIST certification software test or ISTQB certified test
• Maintaining large scale application experience (4 years)
• QTP/UFT (5 years)
• JCL, Mainframe knowledge (3 years)
• Cross Device Testing (3 years)
• Web based thin client architecture
• Web site design and development
• Web development languages and techniques, including HTML, XML, CSS, Java Script
• Mobile apps for accessibility
