Position Summary

Position: Global Supply Chain Co-op - Commodity Management (Nov-Jan, part time; Jan-Aug, full time)

Location: Seneca Falls, NY

Academic Schedule: Part-time starting in November; Full-time January-August 2022

About the experience: Our ITT Goulds Pumps co-op candidates have the unique opportunity to work for one of the most recognizable pump brands in the world. They obtain experience in supply chain strategy development and execution that result in bottom line improvement of the organization. Our top Global Sourcing professionals will offer guidance and mentorship for each candidate, who will also get exposure to Engineering and other professionals.
Essential Responsibilities

Co-op Responsibilities:

• Assist the Commodity Managers in developing and implementing the strategies for direct and indirect commodities, including:
  • Perform supplier landscape analysis
  • Building total cost model and should-cost model
  • Define the Sourcing plan and draft initiatives on key procurement levers
  • Monitoring and reporting results of identified projects and savings initiatives
  • Prepare RfX and maintain Supplier Tier classification
  • Monitor and update supplier risk management matrix
  • Formalize Value Stream Maps with Tier 1 suppliers and assist in the supplier performance reviews.

Position Requirements

Co-op Requirements:

• Current undergraduate or graduate student in good standing in the areas of global supply chain, engineering, or engineering technologies.
• Sophomore and junior students are preferred
• Good knowledge/experience in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
