Overview

To provide courteous service to the resort's guest on the golf course.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

Provide outstanding courteous customer service to all members and resort guest.

Maintain, stage, clean, secure and charge all golf carts on a daily basis.

Set and maintain the driving range each day which includes picking and cleaning the range balls.

Help monitor play as well as speed of play. o Greet guest at the bag drop as they arrive for play.

Assist the golf shop with any tournaments, outings, and other activities that may arise.

Maintain the bag storage with loading, unloading and cleaning the clubs of our members and guest.

Maintain, load, unload rental clubs and check to ensure there is no damage to clubs.

Maintain the golf carts, members and guest clubs as well as all other equipment.

Greet players, assist players with golf clubs and carts monitor the pace of play on the golf course.

Delivery golf cart to on required colleagues and guests in the morning.

Collect golf carts for on required colleagues and guests in the evening.

Ensure safety and security of cart and cart facility at all times.

Report guest issues to the golf pro or appropriate manager to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.

Marginal Duties:

Support the Golf Pro with events and promotions.

Answer questions about the resort and promote all resort activities and services.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

Excellent communication skills

Excellent guest relations skills

Experience with the game of golf an asset

Ability to follow instruction

An eye for detail and a good knowledge of the surrounding areas

Any positions involving operating guest or company vehicles or the transportation of guests or employees require a valid Georgia drives license and a safe driving MVR record

Must be available to work both day and evening shifts, weekends and holidays
