Job Description

  • Promotes and sells a portfolio of technical and/or nontechnical products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new end customers
  • Informs customers of new product/service introductions and prices
  • Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline

  • Manages accounts in / sells within a large domestic territory or small multi-country territory
  • Plans own territory or account approach and manages own resources
  • Works with complex or large territory/account, products/services, sales or account management processes; may serve as team lead
  • Manages accounts in a large domestic or small multi-country territory

Recommended Skills
  • Functional Knowledge: Recognized internally as an expert in an aspect of business, financials, products/services, the market and the needs of assigned accounts
  • Business Expertise: Interprets internal/external business issues and translating them into changes in own activities to react to these business issues
  • Leadership: Typically leads a small sales team but without supervisory authority
  • Problem Solving: Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Impact: Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies
  • Interpersonal Skills: Solving bigger and more diverse requests/problems for a client
