We are a medical device and digital health start-up based in San Francisco that creates life-saving wearable technologies that provide an exceptional experience. We hope to redefine what lifesaving medical equipment can be by putting the patient first. Our strategy is based on the integration and use of data science and machine learning, as well as user-centric design and a rigorous approach to medical device development. Our main goal is to find answers to the leading causes of death and hospitalization related to heart disease.
What You Will Be Doing This person will work on multi-layer rigid flex and rigid printed circuit boards (PCB) assemblies to develop innovative products that contain sensitive analog circuits and sensors, microprocessors, power, and high voltage electronics. Early prototype testing, board level setup, and characterization are just a few of the responsibilities. We'd be interested in speaking with you if you have a track record of producing reliable systems.
What You Need for this Position - Electrical engineering background (BS minimum, MS preferred) with 6-10 years of experience
- Electrical development and testing of products with microprocessors, analog sensors, and ideally high voltage as well
- System level methodologies to lead testing for a class III medical device
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to work effectively across functions
