Description:
The Health Unit Coordinator sits and works at the front desk of the main operating room. This person assists, plans and coordinates a variety of service functions that are related to the surgery department and works closely with leadership and physicians to coordinate patient care .

- To work and facilitate with nursing staff and surgeons at the front desk of the main Operating Room, rotating shifts and weekends
- Reporting to the Director of Surgery with over 20 years of institutional knowledge

Supports departmental operations by providing effective and timely communications, maintaining a clean, safe, orderly work environment, maintaining data and related records, performing clerical and other support services as directed, and providing assistance in select and limited clinical activities.
What you will need
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a unit secretary, administrative partner, Health Unit Coordinator or CNA
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office products
