What We're Looking For:
Barge Design Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking to fill the position of HR Business Partner in Atlanta or Peachtree Corners, GA. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources and will work with leaders across the firm to align Human Resources (HR) strategies and practices with our business goals driving a positive employee experience and great workplace culture.

Responsibilities:

-Provides strategic and operations HR support to various departments across the organization
-Collaborates with the HR team and leaders to ensure a positive and productive work environment
-Supports business strategy by providing HR solutions that ensure high performance and recommendations that enhance the employee experience
-Serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders helping ensure organizational alignment to achieve departmental goals
-Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
-Works closely with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
-Guides and supports leaders in developing internal talent, teambuilding, and succession planning
-Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations
-Responds to employee questions and concerns ranging from general day-to-day questions to complex issues such as ADA accommodation or career coaching conversations
-Partners with business leaders to implement continuous improvement creating a great place to work for all and implementing actions related to employee feedback
-Champions diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives for supported departments
-Implements all HR processes within supported departments (performance management, succession planning, open enrollment, annual pay increases, bonuses...)
-Delivers communication and training regarding HR initiatives and programs
-Makes recommendations for improvement of policies or related cultural initiatives based on employee feedback and business needs
-Partners with Talent Acquisition to support the achievement of workforce growth goals
-Performs other duties as requested

Education & Experience Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
-Professional HR Certification, preferred (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
-5 years of experience required, 7+ years preferred
-Experience working in the Architecture & Engineering industry a plus
-Occasional regional travel is required which may require an overnight stay, typically quarterly
-Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Power Point, Word, and Excel
-Hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
-Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations related to compensation, benefits, and employee survey feedback
-Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
-Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships at all levels including senior executives
-Passion for creating a positive employee experience and great workplace culture
-Willingness to learn and curiosity to ask questions
-High level of professionalism, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality
