Investment Bank in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a Temporary Human Resources Coordinator for an open-ended temp assignment starting on May 20th or 23rd. The firm offers a hybrid work schedule working onsite Tuesday - Thursday and remote Monday & Friday. Hours 9:00am-6:00pm, availability for OT as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage multiple calendars: schedule internal/external meetings and conference calls; reconfirm meetings and prepare meeting materials in advance; proactively resolve calendar conflicts; coordinate catering and conference rooms.
  • Screen and route incoming calls; act as point person for a variety of HR-related inquiries.
  • Support the HR Business Partners with experienced hire recruiting: schedule interviews, coordinate travel, greet candidates, solicit post-interview feedback and prepare consolidated candidate summaries.
  • Support HR team with coordination and preparation for performance review and compensation processes including high volume scheduling and meeting material preparation.
  • Prepare business correspondence (employment verifications, memos, etc.), process incoming mail, maintain employee files, and order office supplies.
  • Process team invoices and assist in budget tracking.
  • Process team expenses on a monthly basis using the Workday Application and reconcile American Express statements.
  • Organize domestic and international travel (air, hotel, and ground transportation) for HR team as needed.
  • Provide data entry support in Workday
  • Special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of HR/administrative experience; financial services industry preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) as well as strong listening skills.
  • Extremely organized with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and exhibit proactive behavior.
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong time management skills.
  • Excellent judgment with highly confidential information.
  • Strong Microsoft computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Oleeo or similar Applicant Tracking System a plus.
  • Experience with Workday a plus.

Compensation:

$30hr - $35hr
