Job Description Summary

This role is an integral part of the Lamb Weston HR function, focused on analyzing and optimizing HR system data and business processes including maintaining HR data integrity (auditing), internal and external reporting, providing analytical support, and ensuring the efficient functioning of our HR systems. The HR Shared Services Analyst collaborates with various departments and key stakeholders to enhance HR processes and data management to help deliver an intuitive system and end-user experience.

Job Description

  • Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the overall data in the HR systems by conducting data audits, educating, and supporting system users as needed regarding data entry/loads and related business processes and, correcting data errors directly in the system or with HRIS support as appropriate.
  • Perform benefits audits as needed and provide thorough root cause and corrective action analysis. Audits include but are not limited to weekly contributions, annual external audit support, periodic contribution and loan audits, company match & true-ups audit, non-discrimination testing for health plan, 1095 filing, leave of absence, payroll, etc.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes, audits, and reports.
Data Analysis
  • Analyze HR data trends, problems, solutions, anticipate consequences of proposed actions and propose recommendations for business process optimization to department leader as related to the HR Operations area.
  • Reviews, comprehends, and briefs complex HR Operations data to stakeholders at all levels by creating and generating reports and analysis to support HR and management decision-making.

HR System (WD) Business Process Fluidity
  • Provide technical support to vendors and department leads to address and resolve system issues, implement updates, and test application improvements. Independently working through break/fix issues and partnering with the Process Innovation team for various system and business processes enhancements.
  • Manage external and internal key controls by monitoring the timely and accurate transmission of data to third party administrators and/or record keepers to ensure employee information is successfully transferred.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Workday, ServiceNow, and other HR systems as needed.

Compliance Reporting
  • Responsible for external compliance reporting. Compile and submit reports to comply with various federal compliance requirements as well as other state and local requirements including but not limited to those related to EEO, VETS 4212, and AAP, Form 5500's, non-discrimination testing, cafeteria plan documents, and annual audits for ERISA plans with external audit.
Project Management
  • Lead and participate in HR related cross-functional projects and works directly with key stakeholders, as well as external consultants. Communicates project goals, timeframe and high-level changes and conducts related training as needed.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Finance or Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in related field
  • Experience administering benefit related laws and regulations, including but not limited to COBRA, HIPAA, and PPACA.
  • Deep understanding of FMLA, EEO laws, ADA, and other employment-related laws & regulations
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Workday HCM Suite: Possess a solid understanding of Workday business processes, security roles, and reporting capabilities.
  • Has advanced operational knowledge of the operation and structure of the various databases, record keeping systems, and technologies used both in the HR Service Center and in the broader HR function.
  • Strong vendor relationship skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Advance Microsoft Excel skills)
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify process gaps and propose effective solutions.
  • Process Improvement: At least 1 year of experience in process improvement or a related field.
  • Project Management: Experience in leading and managing projects, coordinating with various teams and stakeholders, and meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully supporting multiple high level concurrent tasks and elevating issues for resolution when necessary.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with various departments.
  • Adaptability: Capability to adapt to changing environments and embrace new methods.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail for accurate data analysis and process mapping.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate's work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $59,530.00 - $89,310.00
