SUMMARY

This role will specializes in performance and reward in order to provide strategic input in the development and support of pay, reward, and performance processes and products. The primary responsibilities of this role are to develop and maintain all HR policies regarding pay, reward, and performance and to administer the performance and reward cycle annually. Further to these primary responsibilities, this role will assist the HR Operations Team with general support to HR functions within the department.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Performance Duties

  • Ensure the Company has a best practice performance management framework that aligns to expected behaviors and recognition and the Company's strategic objectives.
  • With collaboration from the Head of Human Resources, develop, maintain, and lead the annual performance management process and ensure it is effectively communicated to and understood by managers and employees.
  • Lead and provide oversight of the Company's approach to annual job evaluations to maintain consistency and fairness.
Reward Duties
  • Under direction of the Head of Human Resources, provide strategic input to develop the pay, reward, and recognition strategies to ensure the adoption of best practice and alignment to the strategic objectives of the Company.
  • Develop the implementation of related policies and procedures and systems to support the growth of the Company.
  • Provide input and support the delivery of the annual remuneration processes ensuring the processes are fair and equitable and in line with the reward strategy.
  • Support key reward initiatives and projects, including the design, development and implementation of new reward frameworks or incentive plans.
  • Provide renumeration advice to the Head of Human Resources including market benchmarking, market positioning, and benefits.
  • Deliver data-based insights to the Head of Human Resources regarding reward.
  • Support the development and implementation of the Company's renumeration policy (and any subsequent related policy) in line with relevant legislation and industry practice.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the reward programs and make recommends to improve its operation.
  • Collaborate with the Payroll Specialist to ensure smooth management of employee remuneration arrangements.
  • Ensure annual benchmarking and market related pay research is undertaken to enable the Company to remain competitive and an employer of choice.
  • Collaborate with the Company's senior leaders and the finance team on the development of and delivery of budget planning as it pertains to Human Resources and Talent Attraction.
HRIS Duties
  • Ensure the HRIS is maintained with up to date employee demographic information so that the pay and reward modules process merit and bonus increases accordingly.
  • Keep abreast of our external environment in order to ensure the HR system continues to be compliant with data protection principles and related legislation (collaborate with the payroll provider as needed).
Other General HR Duties:
  • Monitor employment legislation developments and best practice to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with the coordination of the new employee onboarding process.
  • Assist with the coordination of the payroll process.
  • Produce scheduled and ad-hoc reports pertaining human resource requirements.
  • Fulfill all governmental regulatory mandates and ensure filings are performed as required.
  • Addresses HR inquiries to ensure timely and accurate resolutions.
  • Revise company policies as necessary
  • Ensure plan provisions are followed, address concerns or discrepancies with the Head of Human Resources.
  • Participate in HR projects as needed and required.
WHAT WE NEED
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience administering pay, reward, and performance processes required.
  • Prior work experience should include knowledge of basic human resources, performance best practices, pay and reward administration, and compliance, or other related experience.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of employment labor laws related to renumeration, including tax, regulation and market practice.
  • Strong understanding of human resources processes and terminology. Performance, reward, and pay processes and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication. Excellent interpersonal skills. Full professional proficiency in written/spoken English. Ability to present clear, well structured reports.
  • Strong time management skills, ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Exceptional analytical aptitude, detail oriented, and highly organized.
  • Must maintain highest level of confidentiality.
  • Demonstrable success of building good relationships and partnerships with key influencers across the organization.
  • Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or concerns by using judgment that is consistent with company standards, practices, policies, procedures, and federal regulation.
  • Able to proactively develop team dynamics and performance, ensuring quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • A commitment to people development and the Company's values and behaviors that underpins the culture.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, or related discipline.
