Basic Job Functions:

The HR Supervisor will promote safety, ensure consistency, develop best practices for the area, develop team members, and serve as a resource for the campus in terms of policy administration. The HR Supervisor is responsible for setting expectations, motivation and leadership for the HR team. A successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources including, but not limited to, employment, legal/compliance, policy administration, payroll/benefit administration, training and HR systems support.

Per Nucor Policy relatives of teammates currently employed at Vulcraft Utah will not be eligible for this position.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Business, or related field or equivalent related experience
• Fiveyears of work experience in an HR related field

• Strong computer skills and good problem solving skills
• Must have a good ability to analyze and think strategically
• Able to manage and prioritize projects simultaneously without direct supervision
• Have the ability to set goals and work towards continuous improvement

Preferred Qualifications:

• Payroll and human resource experience in a manufacturing environment
• Supervisory experience
• SAP or similar ERP experience
• Experience in training and presenting policy or admin changes to groups
