In this key role, you will be the center-point of plant administrative support.

Ball Metalpack is seeking a professional individual with excellent customer service skills to join our human resources team in support of the manufacturing facility personnel.

Primary Purpose of Position:

Provide HR and administrative support to the plant human resources function of our high-speed, steel packaging manufacturing plant employees.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist in the establishment and delivery of new employee orientation programs.
• Assist in the administration of benefit programs; such as group insurance plans, employee investment plans and vacations.
• Originate and maintain required personnel files.
• Assist in administering corporate, group and plant policies & procedures.
• Update scheduling and time-keeping system for hourly employees.
• Assure that pre-employment requirements are met; such as background checks and drug & job related testing.
• Assist with vacation and attendance tracking for all plant employees.
• Maintain logs and act as a contact point/liaison when needed for travel and accommodation reservations.
• Assist in the development, maintainence and monitoring of plant safety & workers compensation program and training materials.
• Coordinate the administrative duties for the plant.
• Supply a variety of reports for the plant, corporate offices and various government agencies, under the direction of management.
• May be responsible for the interviewing process of new hires.
• May be responsible for coordinating plant functions; such as picnics, holiday parties, etc.
