Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Western Metals Recycling is seeking qualified applicants for a Human Resources Coordinatorposition. The HR Coordinatorwill report directly to the Human Resources Supervisor. They will prepare HR related reports as needed for Corporate or outside reporting agencies; safeguard the integrity of HR and payroll data; and maintain the HR filing systems. The HR Coordinatorwill also be responsible for communicating with teammates about benefits, open enrollment, payroll, and other HR related information. They will also assist in the recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding of new teammates.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree in HR, Business, or related field
• Minimum of 1 year of HR related experience or strong internship experience in HR

Preferred Qualifications:

• Human Resources and payroll experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with SAP / SuccessFactors
• Strong Technical Skills in Microsoft Office and Technical aptitude to learn new systems
• Knowledge of employment laws and procedures
