Position Purpose:
HR generalist with project work in various HR aspects including: recruiting, employee/labor relations, training, HRIS, wage and benefit administration, employee engagement and safety. May also assist with all HR functions at plant locations and business units within and across the division.

Essential Functions:
1. Communicate and support various HR processes, including performance appraisals, new employee orientation, salary and wage administration, and HR metrics.
2. Deliver company mandated and other training modules to personnel as needed.
3. Recruit for assigned openings, following all aspects of the established recruiting process, which includes working closely with recruiting sources, hiring managers, candidates, and interviewers.
4. Maintain a strong customer service attitude to enhance employee relations and provide excellent service to client base. Maintain positive employee relations.
5. lead HR representative for wellness and employee engagement activities.
6. Maintain HR records by ensuring that applications, resumes, position profiles, requisitions and interview records, job offers etc., are documented and filed in accordance with legal, corporate and ISO requirements.
7. Provide performance coaching and execute disciplinary action when necessary, in accordance with Hendrickson's established practices and legal standards.
8. Use Oracle to maintain and update all employee related information, including training records, salary data, job titles and descriptions, and personal data.
9. Serve as lead HR member of safety team. Assists in Workers Compensation case management.
10. Assist with management of the Co-Op and Intern program for the Trailer Division, as needed.
11. Assist with employee development programs including individual career coaching, writing of development plans, and succession management process
12. Provide HR support as needed and requested for the Trailer Division's plant operations.

Education and Training:
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or other related field (Business, Communications, Psychology) required.
• Master's Degree in HR or related field preferred.
• SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 2-3 years' experience in the Human Resource field.
• Strong knowledge of basic principles and practices of Human Resources.
• Experience and comfort in training facilitation a plus.
• Knowledge of Oracle HCM and/or Taleo Recruiting a plus.
• Strong background with Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to rotate between local facilities in Canton, Ohio.
• Willingness to relocate for up to approximately 2 years for developmental/promotion assignments.
Physical Demands:
• Light to moderate travel as required (less than 25%).
Environmental Conditions:
• Frequent sitting, work at computer for extended periods of time.
• Minimal exposure to R&D lab and manufacturing setting.
Behavioral Traits:
• Effective oral and written skills required.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills required.
• Self-motivated and empowered self-starter.
