Top Reasons to Work with Us The Project Manager is responsible for managing mechanical construction projects, position plans, directs, coordinates or budgets, in collaboration with estimator and foremen, activities concerned with the construction and installation. Participates in the conceptual development of a mechanical construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling and implementation.
What You Will Be Doing -Plan and review customers bid documents and requirements.
-Plan and review job cost estimates and prepare budgets.
-Work with the company Pre-Construction Manager to choose all sub-contractors and major equipment and supplies.
-Plan and review with foreman to identify specific labor codes to be used for project.
-Complete and submit permit and licenses applications with appropriate regulatory agencies.
-Plan and review any pre-fabrication requirements for the project.
-Plan and review for adequate personnel resource.
-Plan and execute Percent Complete Meetings with Project Managers and Field Foremen.
-Coordinate and facilitate turnover meetings with management, estimator, foreman and construction crew.
-Complete and submit POs to appropriate vendors.
-Coordinate and ensure proper insurance certificates are received by sub-contractors, etc.
-Prepare accurate/timely monthly financial reports and projections
-Identify/coordinate all pre-fabrication opportunities with shop foreman and job site foreman/superintendent
-Monitor budgets and costs.
-Ensure project billing accuracy and timeliness.
-Negotiate favorable terms for change orders.
-Quality control/assurance in meeting the contract specifications and delivering the appropriate product or services.
-Provide proactive, clear and timely communication to team members and co-workers
What You Need for this Position -Proven working experience in construction management.
-Competent in conflict and crisis management.
-Excellent time and project management skills
-Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering or applicable discipline and/or experience relative to project size/scope
