HYBRID ACCOUNTANT I: DETAILS
Title: Hybrid Accountant I
Location: Franklin TN - Cool Spring area
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $24/HOUR
Type: Contract to Hire
Hours: 8am-5pm | Monday-Friday
Hybrid: You will have the ability to work 2-3 days from home
REQUIREMENTS: HYBRID ACCOUNTANT I
* Bachelor's in Accounting preferred.
* 1+ years of accounting experience required
* Ability to perform both standard and intermediate spreadsheet functions using Microsoft Excel.
* Strong computer skills and ability to learn new computer applications.
* General knowledge of mathematics and accounting principles.
RESPONSIBILITIES: HYBRID ACCOUNTANT I
* This team member assists with the compilation of financial data related to the monthly close process and balance sheet reconciliations.
* The Accountant provides day-to-day financial support, such as daily cash reporting and invoice coding.
* Achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly excellence targets while delivering extraordinary customer service to our hotel teams and clients is of utmost importance.
* The Accountant reports to the Accounting Manage Complete monthly bank reconciliations timely, in compliance, and accurately.
* Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations timely, in compliance, and accurately.
* Complete and distribute daily cash on hand reporting to the property Director's of Finance timely, in compliance, and accurately.
* Perform standard monthly journal entries timely, in compliance and accurately.
* Code and distribute invoices in workflow system.
* Assist property Directors of Finance in analyzing general ledger related activity.
* Participate in quarterly balance sheet reviews with property Director of Finance, Assistant Director of Finance and/or Regional Director of Finance.
* Upholds all company and industry standards pertaining to PCI compliance, guest/financial/payroll confidentiality and accounting best practices.
