Basic Job Functions:
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma. Pursuing a Process Technology Degree.
- Computer Skills: Familiarity with operating systems and basic computer operations like file management, navigating software interfaces, and using peripheral devices. Proficiency in using productivity software like Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for creating documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and data analysis.
- Work Schedule: a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Process Technology fundamentals.
- Minimum GPA of 2.75
