Job Description:

Essential Functions:

• Performs equipment reliability improvement activities including, but not limited to, electrical, machine control, motor drive, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulic troubleshooting operations and repairs.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures. Participates in plant-wide safety, housekeeping and continuous improvement processes (Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, etc.).
• Ensures reliability of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing predictive and preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines, following diagrams, schematics, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Perform Precision Maintenance.
• Proper use of maintenance tools including hoists, cranes, shop equipment, and hand power tools
• Welding, machining and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Contributes to team effort by achieving performance metrics.
• Comply with all OSHA safety and health regulations.

Required Education and Experience:

• 3+ years of PLC programming experience
• 3+ years of experience programing AC, DC, and Servo motor drives
• 3+ years of Preventive Maintenance experience and servicing production equipment
• Experience with Precision Maintenance tools including laser alignment
• Experience in equipment breakdown trouble-shooting
• Experience in welding, machining, and fabrication
• Experience in general building repair
• Continuous Improvement background (Lean / Six Sigma) a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical training preferred
