Location: Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center

Status: PRN

Schedule: Tuesdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., every other Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Practice Highlights: Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center is seeking a Neuropsychologist (PsyD or PhD) to provide full-spectrum Neuropsychology treatment including support counseling, education, capacity evaluations, testing and assessments.

The position will see a broad spectrum of primarily adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses ranging from trauma and traumatic brain injury to dementia, neurodegenerative diseases, PTSD and other conditions. This role works in close partnership with nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and case management. This is a non-prescribing role. This role is neuropsychology-focused and does not require general psychological treatments or evaluations.

This is a PRN role with a specific need for coverage on reoccurring Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and every other Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center is a 381-bed, Level II Trauma Center and TSE Level 1 Comprehensive Stroke Center located in Boise, ID.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology required (PhD or PsyD). Licensed as a Psychologist in Idaho.
  • Certification in Neuropsychology
  • 2 years of post-doctoral experience in a related mental health setting required.
  • Membership required on the Saint Alphonsus Medical Staff as a Medical Associate that is fully credentialed and privileged prior to providing any direct patient care.
