Job Summary
All Instructor candidates are expected to have a demonstrated interest in liberal arts and sciences education, contribute effectively to undergraduate teaching, assist in curriculum development, provide service to the department and College, as well as maintain a research or creative agenda that informs their teaching.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSpelman College invites applications for a fulltime 5-year position at the rank of Instructor in Computer Science to begin in January 2024. The successful candidate will demonstrate potential for excellent undergraduate teaching and mentoring. The ideal candidate should have either a M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field and be able to teach courses within the core curriculum of computer science.
