Job Summary

Managesriskfor thecompanyby ensuring thatappropriateproperty, business interruption, general liability, directorsandofficers, marine and aviationinsurance products and structures are in place.

What you will be responsible for

  • Leads the efforts in the preparation of underwriting submission, payment of invoices and policy wording review
  • Conducts analytical analysis to ensure proper balance between premium and retention objectives
  • Assist with preparing the insurance portion of the corporate budget
  • Reviewing procurement contracts to ensure compliance with insurance department's objectives and provide functional approval
  • Works with internal and external parties to facilitate claim submissions and resolution
  • Works with JV partners to determine appropriate insurance program for entity
  • Acts as liaison with internal and external parties to research inquiries and provide responses
  • Provides operating divisions with financial planning, budget support, and analysis
  • Analyzes and evaluates alternate financial plans as they relate to the corporate objectives
  • Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a similar degree field and/or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 1 years related experience is preferred; oil and gas industry experience preferred
  • Possess strong financial modeling skills having built their own models or owned a financial model in previous roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Analytical thinker who can prioritize their time
  • Self-motivated to learn and grow
SPECIAL DEMANDS
  • This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc. Noise level is typically low. Frequently in a stationary, sitting position for prolonged periods of time. Regularly moves about inside the office to complete tasks, attend meetings or to access the copy machine or file cabinets. Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the office. Occasionally may lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.
Salary Range

The salary range for this job is \$67,600 - \$108,100.
