This is a paid internship; however, the intern must provide their own housing and transportation. Business related transportation and expenses will be paid by the organization. This intern will work full-time through the summer of 2023 and part-time during the school year.

Position Overview:
This internship will provide hands on experience in the Enterprise Data team. The intern will learn how to work in an agile development team while applying data movement process and presentation techniques.

Essential Functions:

  • Interact with development team and business users to develop and execute test plans on new functionality.
  • Assist with developer testing prior to QA.
  • Adhere to standards and best practices of established quality assurance guidelines.
  • Assist with ETL development under the guidance of an experienced developer.
  • Assist in design and develop data visualizations using reports and dashboards using Power Business Information desktop.
  • Assists with deployments and updates to various reports, dashboards, and visualization in the Power BI online service.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Active student pursuing an information technology degree and/or certificate.
  • Exposure to ETL process, database programming such as SQL.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong time management and planning skills are also required, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills, including the ability to translate technical information into non-technical terms.
