Position Overview:
This internship will provide hands on experience in the business technology team. The intern will learn how to work in an agile development team while testing new functionality of business systems.

Essential Functions:

  • Interact with an agile development team and business users to develop and execute test plans on newly created system functionality.
  • Work on testing newly developed systems as well as existing systems with new features.
  • Adhere to standards and best practices of established quality assurance guidelines.
  • Assist with manual and automated testing under the guidance of an experienced quality assurance analyst\engineer.
  • Assist with beta testing and facilitating user acceptance testing.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Active student pursuing an Information Technology degree and/or certificate.
  • A basic understanding of software development QA processes.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and organizational skills, including the ability to translate technical information into non-technical terms.
  • Strong time management and planning skills are also required, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
