What you will do
Johnson Controls invites you to apply for a position in our internship program at our Grantley Plant located in York, PA. Our internship program is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives that are consistent with your career goals and current level of education. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below.

Location: Grantley Plant in York, PA. Must be in the area for the duration of the internship
Timeframe: Summer 2021 internship. Start and end dates are flexible based on current school schedule. Ideally 3 month internship with the possibility for extension.

How you will do it

  • Support Quality department in the Implementation of TIPQA
  • Data Entry
  • Quality Procedure Reviews and Modifications
  • Hand-On shop Support for the Qaulity Dept.
  • Quality Documentation Review

What we look for:

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering
  • Overall GPA of 2.75 or above
  • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
Who we are
The primary mission of Johnson Controls Navy Systems team in York is to supply Chilled Water Air Conditioning Plants, Refrigeration Systems and associated equipment to the US Navy and US Coast Guard. Johnson Controls Navy Systems is a part of the Johnson Controls Federal Systems business. Our robust, high reliability products are designed, manufactured and tested in York, PA to military and other stringent customer specifications. Most of our designs are custom engineered for the specific application.
