Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm (some overtime on Fridays)

Hourly Rate: Min $12.48, Mid $15.60, Max $18.72



SUMMARY:

Inventory Clerk – Raw Components is responsible for maintaining inventory integrity in production raw materials, which involves daily processes of creating and maintaining inventory data in JD Edwards. This involves verifying rack locations, entering inventory information, reconciling transactions, completing cycle counts, and helping with other production related inventory tasks. Requires the ability to solve both short-term issues (e.g., correcting on-hand quantity) and long-term issues (e.g., what causes specific problems?). This requires interaction with all material handlers, supervisors, quality team, and lead persons. This position will report directly to the Materials Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Oversee the cycle count program with integrity and accuracy.
* Create and reconcile cycle counts daily using a predetermined CC Schedule.
* Respond and execute JDE urgent cycle counts and Hot Count (HC) requests.
* Create reports in JD Edwards to verify / resolve inventory discrepancies.
* Complete rack audits to ensure racking locations are accurate.
* Properly reconcile transactions within JDE and WMS for accurate inventory management.
* Work with Inventory team members to validate and correct inventory negatives.
* Review daily incoming / outgoing deliveries and receiving transactions in JDE and Oracle.
* Complete audits on inbound (OT’s) and outbound (ST’s).
* Document all INV discrepancies, root cause analysis’, corrections, and reporting’s.
* Complete due-diligence investigation on concerns and effectively communicating.
* Provide any feedback and recommendations for improving practices and processes.
* Maintain the 5S’s in all areas of work and create the same expectations for the DC team.
* Drive continuous improvements initiatives for inventory accuracy and management.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


* Inventory control mid-sized manufacturing experience required. Previous JDE, MRP and WMS system experience is a plus.
* Some college preferred, but experience will be considered.
* Strong attention to detail, basic math comprehension, and computer skills (Excel, Word), and JDE and WMS background.
* Candidate must have ability to analyze information; work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; use scanners (RFGEN); and be a team player.
