SUMMARY

Assist in maintaining accurate records of inventory for materials and supplies such as purchase, repair, and exchange orders, equipment, and parts as listed but not limited to:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following, but not limited to:

  • Fills year-end reports such as teardown reports and closed exchanges
  • Submits requests for office supplies for the Materials Department
  • Assists the Component Repair Manager in processing and closing open repair orders and exchanges.
  • Updates and tracks teardown reports for all repair orders and keeps track of price quotes for each teardown as received
  • Provides support to Component Repair Manager in keeping track of all open core exchanges and serve as a liaison between wheels/brakes vendors concerning the exchange orders
  • Scans all incoming purchase orders, exchanges, and repair orders received and inspected by Quality Control into the Imagio/Airvault system on a daily basis
  • Assists the Material Services Manager in keeping track of the aircraft parts inventory via cycle counts and annual inventory as requested
  • Serves as backup to ordering and processing uniforms for Maintenance, Materials, and QC employees.
  • Advises of discrepancies in reports and official documentation and collaborates with the corresponding corrections
  • Other administrative duties as needed

  • Must comply with all daily functions in order to ensure the fulfillment of all departmental requests in a prompt and orderly manner.
  • Must have an all-around sense of knowledge and understanding of company procedures.
  • Must attain established work standards of quantity and quality of consistent basis by process or function.
  • Consistently follows policies and procedures (including governmental and safety) and departmental Standard Operating Procedures.


QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or CERTIFICATION:



Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
