Overview

Summary:

The primary functions are reporting on the investment portfolio and data management. This includes preparing monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc investment presentations using our database. The Analyst will be expected to keep up with regular reporting requirements as well as curate new presentations. The Analyst will also work closely with portfolio managers to provide support documents and key portfolio metrics. This role is not client facing however it requires communication with internal teams as well as vendors.

Analyst will be working on the trading desk with investment portfolio managers where they will be exposed to financial markets, investment strategy, and various financial products.

Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Daily reporting on key portfolio metrics, portfolio monitoring
  • Provide ongoing reporting on performance
  • Prepare presentations for management decision making or for regulatory agencies
  • Support senior team members in responding to specific requests as needed
  • Communication with internal teams
  • Keeps current with market trends and demands
  • Performs other functionally related duties as assigned


Qualifications

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • 0-3 Years Expereince
  • Background in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Math or similar field.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Analytical mind with a keen sense of mathematical patterns
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication and presentation skills


Preferred:
  • Previous experience in related field
  • Knowledge of financial products
