Employment Status:  Full-Time (.75 or greater)

Hours per Pay Period:  1.00 = 80 hours (Exempt)

Starting Wage DOE:  $60,736 - $75,940

This position servesas the primary technology resource for the clinical, financial and/or 3rd partyinformation systems within a business unit and/or division. Responsibilitiesinclude planning and design of business solutions and resources needed to meetbusiness goals/objectives, facilitate the integration of data, information,knowledge and/or systems to support improved productivity, efficiency, decisionmaking, and/or quality outcomes for all clinical, financial or 3rd party roleswithin Billings Clinic and its regional partners. Position is responsible forimplementing and operational support of system configurations, analyzing data,information and information system requirements. Provides technical expertiseas a consultant to the user community for Billings Clinic and its regionalpartners. Responsible for on-going training and education of all user personnelwithin assigned support areas.

Essential Job Functions

* Supports and models behaviors consistent with BillingsClinic's mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and serviceexpectations. Meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements.Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agencystandards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or jobperformance.
* Provides day to day operational support for assignedsystems. Participates in supported system implementations for Billings Clinicand its regional partners
* Acts as a liaison and expert with the end-user community,and software vendors to identify problems and concerns regarding the overallperformance and/or effectiveness of the technologies and workflows that impactsupported users. Researches, analyzes and provides recommendations forcorrective action to resolve problems with the internal functionality of the systemand/or integration of information between systems. Collaborates with thetechnical resources and/or software vendor with recommendations for systemenhancements, detailed information regarding technical or functionalityproblems and assists with implementation of recommended fixes.
* Utilizes lifelong learning skills to maintain currentknowledge of trends and developments related to specific role and/or area ofexpertise as it relates to information management systems and the assigneddepartment, business unit and/or organization. Identifies and seeks out growthopportunities and shares knowledge with colleagues.
* Performs additional duties as defined for the specificrole. See table below. Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet theneeds of the department/organization.

* Demonstrate independent competency of subject and technicalmatter for assigned applications during implementation, maintenance and updateson supported systems.
* Provide front line application support for Billings Clinicand Regional end-users.
* Provide a bridge role between IT and the user community,communicating and translating between different perspectives or views aboutoperations using different vocabulary to match those views.
* Build and maintain relationships with end-user staff tobetter understand and anticipate their objectives, needs and expectations.
* Understand and document operational support and assist withworkflow documentation to ensure systems perform as expected.
* Participates in cross-functional teams and projects toensure integration of new business initiatives within processes and systems.
* Execute and refine test scripts and test plans.
* Develops and conducts user training in applications either1:1 or in a group setting
* Work with external vendors and internal staff/teams withinBillings Clinic to troubleshoot system issues, ensure system security,stability, reliability and flexibility to meet business needs.
* Participate in on-call rotation
* Up to 25% travel for regional projects and support

* Adheres to policy and procedures of Billings Clinic anddepartment/service.
* Demonstrate expert mastery of subject and technical matterfor assigned applications during implementation, maintenance and updates onsupported systems. Acts as a mentor, trainer and subject matter expert on supportedsystems
* Provide front line application support for Billings Clinicand Regional end-users.

* This position will be responsible for participating inmultiple project initiatives with aggressive timelines. Position requirescompetent organizational skills to help meet project goals and objectives.
* This position has a high level of responsibility forsystems that impact the outcomes of patient care and the financial viability ofBillings Clinic.
* Under minimal supervision, performs in-depth, complexanalysis and develops recommendations and actions to be taken as part of a teamand individually. Analysis and evaluation processes require high levels ofcreativity, logic and the ability to conceptualize as well as break downconcepts into detailed components. Analysis requires the use of informationstructures, information processes and information technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

* Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience (5+ years). An equivalent combination of education and experience related to the identified tasks, knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered

Certifications and Licenses

* Current Montana license/certification/registration as applicable and appropriate to education/training (RN, Pharmacist, MD, Medical Technologist, etc.)
* Current state driver's license and the ability to be insured to operate Billings Clinic vehicles
