SUMMARY

The IT project manager provides project management support to all application projects. This position will be responsible for the successful initiation, planning, designing, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of all information technology projects. Ensures project management policies, standards, and procedures are consistently followed within the team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* Responsible for managing all aspects of the project and product life cycle: initiate, plan, execute, control and close.
* Responsible for facilitating and ensuring the creation and maintenance of project documentations (project charter, functional design, technical design, project plan, cutover plan, task logs, issue logs, responsibility matrix, communication plan...etc.)
* Create, maintain, execute, and monitor project plans to ensure tasks and milestones are completed on time and stays within budget
* Create, maintain, and control project scopes, requirements, deliverables, resource schedules, responsibility matrix, risk plans, cost and budget trackers, work break down structures, sprint plans, status reports to all project and organizational stakeholders
* Control project scopes, schedule, costs, quality, risks to ensure project completion on time and within budget
* Set direction for project team, clear roadblocks, resolve conflicts, and escalate when necessary
* Provide exceptional customer service for internal and external customers
* Collaborate with the legal and procurement team to create quotes, NDA, MSA, SOS, and SOWs...etc.
* Research and provide solutions to enhance IT capabilities to improve business growth
* Manage multiple projects concurrently
* Assist and mentor other team members
* Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
* Negotiate, collaborate, and influence at all levels of the organization for effective project delivery

TRAVEL

Average 20-40% travel for some projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

* Qualified candidates have a bachelor's degree in informational technology related fields or equivalent business experience in IT.
* Intermediate level of experience using project planning and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Projects, Jira, and Team.
* Intermediate to expert level of experience in managing IT enterprise, manufacturing infrastructure and cloud application projects.
* Experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
* Experience in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
* Minimum of 4 years IT project management experience in the manufacturing industry preferred
* Experience functional knowledge with SAP ERP preferred

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

* PMP certification by PMI is strongly preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS

* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

* Basic informational technology bachelor's degree math skill level

JOB SKILLS

* Ability to manage all aspects of the project and product life cycle: initiate, plan, execute, control and close.
* Strong communication skills with peers, managers, sponsors, and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
* Technical writing
* Training and mentoring other team members
* Collaborate with legal and sourcing to create contracts
* Vendor management (local and remote) and contract negotiation
* Strong organization and remain calm under pressure
* Strong group facilitation
* Strong analytical and problem-solving
* Ability to manage in a fast pace environment with shifting priorities and demand fluctuation

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Work is performed in a normal office environment with minimal physical risks involved. The noise level in the work environment is low to moderate. Occasional work assignments in the manufacturing environment which will require the compliance of OSHA regulations and CIT safety standards.
