Baer is looking for IT Systems Administrator for a 9+ month project located in Tampa, FL.

Title: IT Systems Administrator
Location: Remote with Onsite in Tampa, FL as Requested
Duration: 9 months Contract-to-Hire
Rate: All-Inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Responsible for maintaining, upgrading and managing the software, hardware and networks of an organization.
• Ensures that the IT infrastructure of the organization is secure, reliable and efficient.
• Install and configure software and hardware components of the IT system
• Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and issues
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights
• Perform regular backups and data recovery
• Ensure security and compliance of the IT system
• Provide technical support and guidance to users and staff
• Update and document system configurations and procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT system administrator or similar role
• Knowledge of system administration, network administration and security principles
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux and Mac OS operating systems
• Familiarity with various software and hardware tools and applications
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems
• Exposure to the following products and technologies

• Cisco Catalyst and Meraki switches
• Cisco ASA and general firewall knowledge
• Azure cloud networking, infrastructure, server systems and AVD
• Office 365 systems (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, etc.)
• VMware clusters
• SAN/NAS
• Zscaler Internet AccessSilver Peak SDWAN appliances

• Bachelor's Degree
