Office/ Building cleaner DIRECT HIRE $18-$20 an hour in Braintree, MA

Hourly Rate: $18-20 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday 11:00am-7:30pm

Essential Functions:

Our client is looking to hire a full-time custodial worker in the Braintree area. Schedule would be 5 days a week with an early afternoon start time. Duties include cleaning building floors and stairways, servicing, cleaning, and supplying restrooms, cleaning windows, dusting furniture, maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen along with the office and stocking closets with consumables and chemicals as needed.

Duties:

• Sweeps and mops floors.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Clean windows and glass doors.
• Clean restrooms, offices, and breakrooms in facility.
• Restocking of consumables and chemicals as needed
• Adherence to all applicable health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Effective basic English reading and speaking skills are required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.

Physical Abilities:

• Physical strength, agility, and endurance to walk/stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Bend/reach, lift, pull, or push objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Wear personal protective and safety gear when appropriate.
• Exposure to cleaning agents and chemicals, dust and other environmental conditions is expected in janitorial work.
