RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Java/Spring Boot/API/AWS in Westlake, TX.Duties Include:- Deliver high quality, timely, cost effective and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment to meet functional and non-functional business requirements
- Actively contribute to and evangelize engineering practices such as code and design reviews, source control strategy, environment strategy, and build and deployment pipelines
- Work with product owner, peer technical leads and architects as required to influence technical improvements to the platform
- Develop a keen understanding of the business domain and actively participate in technology discussions with business partners and other external parties
- Investigate creative practices and share them with your team-mates
- Desire to provide outstanding product support, including on-call support, when necessary
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology related field
- 6+ years of experience in software application design & development
- Proven experience with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of continuous integration, static code analysis, test automation and test-driven development
- Care deeply about doing outstanding work with best-in-class people
- Have excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to run with multiple tasks at a given time
- Desired skills: Java/J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, REST Services, Cloud, deployment technologies, and AWS
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
