Description: Our client is currently seeking a JDE Technical Functional Analyst on a FTE salaried basis allowing of remote work structure.

Hiring Focus: 5+ years in JDE E1 (Versions 8.9-9.2)

The Analyst is responsible for application development and support of the ERP systems. This includes, but is not limited to, JD Edwards software (emphasis on Warehouse Management, Transportation Management & Inventory Management) and other applications as needed.

Role Functions:

• Partners with business users and project teams to collaborate on and deliver the right solutions.
• Participates in strategy discussions to understand and capture high level business needs. Serves as a conduit between business, IT, and external partners.
• Provides best practice recommendations to improve efficiency, reliability, performance, and functionality of processes and procedures.
• Designs, develops, and tests solutions in coordination with development team and business representatives.
• Creates functional and technical requirements, specifications, and documentation.
• Analyzes, develops, implements, and supports business processes using Oracle JD Edwards modules (WM, TMS, IM) and other bolt-on applications.
• Defines integration touchpoints between JD Edwards and other applications such as DSI, Varsity, T.L. Ashford, Loftware, Nice Label, Freight Carrier apps, and others.
• Defines project plans to lead small to medium sized projects and achieves project objectives and schedules.
• Responds to functional and technical issues, including troubleshooting, issue management and initiates actions with technical support teams as needed.
• Manages process compliance as appropriate (e.g., internal controls, regulatory requirements, other business process, etc.) including development and delivery of documentation and training material.
• Adheres to standards in both new and existing software, including purchased packages and in-house development.
• Follows departmental policies and procedures as well as those for the overall company.

Required Items:

• BA/BS in Information Technology or related field of study or equivalent related work experience.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience configuring and supporting JD Edwards Enterprise One (E1) versions 8.9-9.2.
• Ability to identify system issues, determine root causes, and provide solutions as temporary workarounds and permanent fixes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
