Description
Fill coolant, oil, remove chips and wipe down equipment Follow written instructions precisely Work both independently and as part of a team Use hand and power tools to produce aircraft products Learn KIHOMAC practices for operating manual mill, manual lathe, press brake, FLOW waterjet and Cold-saw Work with a variety of materials, such as aluminum, stainless steel, carbon fiber and fiberglass Sign pre-use inspection sheets Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education/Training:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred
Experience:
- 0+ years of professional experience in the required task area required
- Machine shop experience preferred
- Desired experience operating general shop tools to include, metal shear, drill press, bandsaw, bearing press, finishing wheels, slip roller and pneumatic tools
- Desktop skills highly preferred
- Must be a US citizen
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required
